Sunset Beige Multiformat is Portuguese natural limestone from Central Portugal supplied in a deliberate mix of sizes, with a Natural Split-Face surface for facades and wall cladding. Rectangular pieces are combined with smaller complementary pieces; the exact mix varies from delivery to delivery.

Multiformat: several sizes in one delivery

That mix is the whole point of the piece. Instead of a single repeating module or a fully dispersed irregular field, the wall is built from several piece sizes at once, which produces broken courses: horizontal lines form and then step, and smaller pieces fill and shift the rhythm. The result sits between the order of a rectangular layout and the freedom of an irregular one, and it works particularly well on medium-sized areas — porch and entrance walls, chimney breasts, garden walls, interior feature walls — where a plain repeat would look flat and a fully random composition would look loose.

Because the tonal range of Sunset Beige is soft, the size mix carries the interest while the colour stays quiet, which keeps the effect architectural rather than decorative.

SB/MF next to Sunset Beige Irregular and Alpine Mixed

Two comparisons help place it. Sunset Beige Irregular is the same stone in a single dispersed format, so the composition is looser and no coursing appears. Alpine Mixed Multiformat uses the same idea of mixed sizes but adds noticeably stronger tonal variation in cooler tones, so two variables move at once instead of one.

Thicknesses for the multiformat mix

Known indicative pallet yields are about 25, 20 and 15 m² for 2–3, 4–6 and 6–8 cm, with an average pallet weight of 1,300–2,500 kg; every thickness option is listed in the technical specifications table. Because several sizes are distributed across the wall, setting out is best planned with an experienced stone installer, and representative samples or a project mock-up may help confirm the rhythm before the full area is laid.
