Practical guides for specifiers and buyers, covering colour, format, surface and thickness.
Sunset Beige Irregular is the restrained warm option: Portuguese natural limestone from Central Portugal, supplied with a Natural Split-Face surface for facades and wall cladding. It keeps the warm undertone of the Sunset collection but within a narrower band of soft beige and sand, without the deeper oxidised markings.
A calmer warm tone across the wall
The practical consequence is a calmer wall. Neighbouring pieces sit closer together in tone, so the surface reads as one continuous field of stone and the split-face relief — rather than the colour — becomes the thing you notice. That behaviour makes it a sound choice for very large areas, for long boundary and retaining wall faces, and for elevations that already carry visual work elsewhere, such as strong glazing rhythms, timber screens or planting.
The Format is Irregular: pieces typically around 25–35 cm across with varying dimensions and shapes, laid without a repeating horizontal course, which keeps the composition natural while the tone stays even.
Sunset Beige Irregular compared with Sunset Gold
The comparison to make is with Sunset Gold Irregular, which shares the Format and the surface but has a distinctly stronger and more varied warm character. Choosing between them is a decision about how much tonal movement the elevation should carry. If instead you want warm tones with mixed piece sizes, Sunset Beige Multiformat uses the same stone family in a layered format mix.
Thicknesses and pallet coverage for Sunset Beige
Known indicative pallet yields are about 25, 20 and 15 m² for 2–3, 4–6 and 6–8 cm, with an average pallet weight of 1,300–2,500 kg; every thickness option is listed in the technical specifications table. Final setting out is agreed with the project designer and an experienced stone installer, and fixing method and joint design depend on the substrate and project conditions.
